Masala chaas is classic Indian drink made with yogurt, ground cumin and black salt.

It is the perfect way to cool off during summer. It is light, refreshing and flavorful.

Ingredients


  • Yogurt Plain – 1 cup


  • Water – 2 cups


  • Cilantro – 1/8 cup


  • Mint – 6-8 leaves


  • *Cumin powder -¼ tsp


  • *Black Salt – ¼ tsp


  • *Salt – ¼ tsp


  • *Chaat Masala – ¼ tsp


  • Ice – optional


  • *Can be adjusted according to taste.

Directions

  • In a blended combine yogurt, water, cilantro, mint, cumin powder, black salt, salt, chaat masala and ice and blend for about 30 – 45 seconds.

Notes

  • Black salt and chaat masala can be found in Indian store or Indian section. in your local supermarket.
