Banana bread is the most easiest recipe to bake. It so moist and soft.

One of the best ways to use overripe banana so it does not go to waste. We generally bake it and eat a slice as a snack every day.

Ingredients

  • 3 Bananas Smashed

  • 1 tbsp Flax Egg

  • 1/3 cup Milk (I use Oatly)

  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil

  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

  • 1.5 Cups Whole wheat flour

  • 3 tbsp Sugar

  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar

  • 1/4 tsp Salt

  • 3/4 cup Walnuts chopped

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F and lightly grease loaf pan
  • In a bowl, add milk and oil and whisk until combined, add flax egg, vanilla extract and whisk
  • Now add the mashed banana, sugars, salt and combine. Stir in the flour and nuts and gently fold them in. (do not over mix)
  • Pour the batter into a loaf pan and bake it for 45 – 50 min until brown and toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean
  • Let it cool completely before you server

Notes

  • You can use 1 egg instead of flax egg
  • If you have only two bananas, then you need to add extra 1/3 cup of milk
