I always though baking bread is only for the experts and that if I ever bake it at home it would not be a good idea or time consuming.
But after I started baking, I just fell in love with Baking breads.
5 Ingredients Whole Wheat Focaccia Bread

Whole wheat flour – 2 cups
Active dry yeast – 1 1/4 tsp
Sugar – 1.5 tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp or more as needed
Water – 1/4 for yeast and 3/4 for dough
Rosemary – As needed
Directions
- In a bowl, add sugar, yeast and warm water (110 °F ) and let sit for 5 min. (U should see a foamy and a aromatic flavor)
- In a medium size mixing bowl, add whole wheat flour, salt and yeast water (from step 1) and slowly add water and mix it in with a wooden spatula until dough is formed. Dough will be sticky.
- On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough into a smooth dough.( Apply oil to your hands if needed) for about 3-4 min. Do not over do the dough.
- Lightly oil a bowl and place the dough and cover with a cloth and let it sit for 1 hour 20 min in a warm place
- You should see the dough will double in size. Gently fold the dough in the same bowl for 30 – 50 sec and let rest in warm place for another 45 min.
- Now in a 8 or 9 inch rimmed baking tray (round or square) place the dough and gently press it down. Let rest for 20 min. In the meantime pre-heat the oven to 425 °F
- Oil your fingers and create dimples on the dough, fill the dough with olive oil and rosemary.
- Bake for 20 min and broil on high for 2.5 min to brown the top.
- Serve warm with olive oil.
